Whether I use the touch screen to center it, or if I use the button (lever? I don't know what to call it) - give it a double click to center it - it moves but. just too easy to touch either the lever or the screen as one is shooting and then the next shot(s) are crap. There is no way I've found to actually lock it in a way that stays locked in the center (on the other hand, my Sony does this very well). Its too easy to touch the screen or the lever accidentally. So, if I'm shooting quickly sometimes i miss the fact that it moved and the shot is out of focus because its focussing on one corner or another. But, if others reading this have had the same issue or same frustration, please weigh in I assume you would have detected this so, apologies that this does not address your issue. Just took delivery of an X100v today in the UK, so thought it a very good idea to join this forum. First impressions it that it’s a really lovely and very capable camera, that really lives up to it’s reputation - in particular considering it’s small and discreet size. I’m mostly interested in stripped back shooting with the OVF and not the back lcd, so I found the settings to turn off the lcd and use viewfinder only. Is there a way to disable the lcd for shooting but still use it to access all the camera menu functions or the Q settings ? However, when I do that the Shooting Menu/Ok button only works through the viewfinder as well. I’m coming from Nikon dslr where that works as I’d prefer so maybe it’s just a case of transition etc and may not end up bring a huge issue as I’m unlikely to need to dig deep into menus once I’ve tuned all the settings.SILKYPIX is “RAW development software” that generates a high-resolution picture from the RAW data of a digital camera and offers accurate color from shadows through to highlights.
